Pretty Pink October benefiting The Pink Fund®
The Pretty Pink Rooster Boutique owner Alexandra Daras understands first hand the effects a breast cancer diagnosis has on a family after losing her grandmother to the devastating disease. The female-owned boutique Pretty Pink Rooster is all about helping women through whatever their day brings.
Throughout the pandemic, their focus has been providing women with clothing and accessories to help them feel empowered and supported during this crazy transition, whether they are working from home, have taken on the role of mother-turned-teacher, or are taking extra precautions to stay safe due to an underlying condition.
Recognizing that COVID-19 has only made it harder for working women and mothers in treatment, Alexandra wants to leverage her position in the female community to inspire those currently fighting breast cancer, while also giving back to The Pink Fund’s mission of providing financial support to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels, and allow breast cancer patients in active treatment to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes. Alexandra has great admiration for founder & CEO Molly MacDonald and her personal story.
The Pretty Pink Rooster Boutique is spotlighting 5 breast cancer SurThrivors® who embody resilience; survivors who demonstrated perseverance in the face of adversity and, like Molly, transformed their battle into inspiration to pay it forward during their diagnosis and treatment.
Please tune-in to PPR TV on Instagram and Facebook all day to hear the stories of these courageous women. The one day event will bring awareness to the disease and to The Pink Fund mission, drive donations, empower breast cancer warriors around the world, and recognize these women’s compassionate contribution to the breast cancer community.
